EMDR is the acronym for “Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.” It’s a method of trauma therapy used by health care professionals that mimics REM (rapid eye movement) sleep patterns. Because it’s been so successful, many mental health professionals are beginning to utilize the EMDR techniques, which often involve the use of “bilateral music” where it pans gently from left to right.

Del Hungerford has created instrumental music in the bilateral style from several of her albums. The music included in "EMDR Music for the Emotions" is:

  • Joyful Heart from the album "New Hope"
  • Joyful Hope from the album "New Hope"
  • Abiding Love from the album "Cleansing Fire"

“EMDR Music for the Emotions” is designed to take negative emotions and release them so both physical and emotional pain can find liberation. While listening to “EMDR Music for the Emotions,” imagine seeing negative situations float away, being replaced by love, joy, peace, and comfort. Allow the intent of walking in freedom from negativity, emotional pain, sorrow, and stress to wash emotional trauma away. Then, replace the pain with the opposite emotion. Sense, feel, and see that freedom.
